Web3D Content Guide

Everything you need to know to prepare and upload materials to your virtual showroom efficiently and professionally.

Content Guide and Sample Files

The files correspond to:

TRY.WEB3D.APP

All visual content must be provided to Web3D. The Content Management team will handle the upload and configuration of all content, delivering a fully functional website ready for use. Implementation time ranges from 5 to 15 days, depending on the project's size, once the content and information are provided. Preliminary content can be submitted for testing and client reviews, with no limit on revisions.

Initial flight and 360° exterior spin

3D animated video of an initial flight approaching a main point of the project, followed by a turn to the right to a lateral point, then another turn to a different lateral point, and finally returning to the main point of the project. It’s a 360° exterior spin of the project that stops at 3 points. This allows the user to get oriented with the project's location, understand the surrounding environment, and view the exterior design of the project.

Technical Format
File format: MP4 – Aspect ratio 16:9 – Full HD 1920 x 1080, 30 fpsRecommended duration: 10 to 15 secondsThis video will be partitioned into smaller videos and images to optimize its loading on the platform.

Flights to the Top or Areas of the Project

3D animated video of a flight from the main point towards the top of the building, entering to view the floor plans of the levels with their apartments or amenities areas.A video is created for each tower or area to be accessed, and flights can also be made from the other two lateral points of the 360° spin to create a continuous and guided viewing experience. In the case of a housing neighborhood or lots, flights are made to different areas or the entire master plan, depending on the project size.

File format: MP4 – Aspect ratio 16:9 – Full HD 1920 x 1080, 30 fpsRecommended duration: 3 to 5 seconds per video

Images for Building Floor Swipe

When entering the building, the floor levels are displayed. An image should be created for each level you wish to showcase, creating a visual effect of descending through each floor. This is optional; you can also create images for levels that change without their surroundings, reusing the same image for identical levels. It is recommended to render floor plans of the amenity levels furnished and the apartment floors either unfurnished or with basic furniture. In this section, the user can explore the entire interior of the project, level by level, understand the different layouts, the number of apartments per floor, and select a specific unit.

360° Virtual Tours

360° tours are highly recommended to provide Web3D with a complete and immersive experience of the project's spaces and areas. In Web3D, 360° tours are integrated and organized into different areas as the client enters and navigates. This approach simplifies the creation of 360° tours for each zone, avoiding the need for a large, hard-to-manage single tour.

Web3D allows for 360° tours in:

  • Aerial Exterior View (360° tour of the surroundings and location of the project)

  • Residential Units (360° tour of apartments, houses, commercial spaces, etc.)

  • Social Areas or Amenities (360° tour of social areas or amenities)

  • Exterior Façade Areas (360° tour of the building's exterior façade)

Technical Format

Each 360° tour must be delivered as a compressed .zip file containing all the necessary files (HTML, CSS, scripts, and images) required for the 360° tour to function on a web server. The tour must include an index.html file in the root of the .zip that launches the tour.

The software for creating 360° tours that can be integrated with Web3D includes:

3D Vista
Pano 2VR
Layama
Biganto
Kuula
Matterport

* Any software that generates a web version of the 360° tour can be integrated. If the software provides a URL or link for the 360° tour instead of files to be hosted, the URL will be integrated into Web3D. However, it is important to note that the 360° tour will only function as long as the provided URL remains active. Examples of such cases include Kuula or Matterport.

PDF Brochure for Units

A PDF brochure can be uploaded for each unit. It is recommended to create a separate PDF brochure for each unit type in the project, containing specific information so the user can download it.

File format: PDF. Recommended size: Less than 15MB

General Project PDF Brochure

A general project brochure can be uploaded, showcasing complete information about the unit types, amenities, and lifestyle. This can be in PDF format for download.

File format: PDF
Recommended size: Less than 25MB

Developer General PDF Brochure

A general brochure about the project's real estate developer can be uploaded, containing information about their background and track record. This brochure should be in PDF format for download.

Preliminary Content

We support and assist you during the content creation stage for Web3D, with the option to have functional preliminary versions, though with basic information or preliminary content, monochromatic images, low resolution, or only 2D images. These versions allow you to show them to your clients for revisions before rendering in high resolution and generating the final material. This helps avoid rework and detect errors that can be corrected during the process. All preliminary visual content versions needed for revisions can be submitted by the studio. Web3D has no limit on the content that can be uploaded for a real estate project.

Safe Margins

In order to display the User Interface over the Graphic Content, the following safe margins should be used to position the project within the content.

Loading, Configuration, and Setup Time

  • The required time is between 5 to 15 business days.
  • Demo Domain
  • The time required for configuration and setup on the official domain.

Web3D is an automated and parameterized system that allows for quick loading, configuration, and setup.

However, the required time is between 5 to 15 business days depending on the project size. Small projects with little information will likely take 5 days, while large and complex projects will take up to 15 days. This timeline starts once all project content and information have been delivered.

Since we know that content creation can take time, we recommend sending preliminary material to allow the structure of Web3D to be built and updated as new content is generated. This approach allows the client to view the platform and make corrections before reaching the final version.

During this entire stage, a demo domain will be assigned, allowing access to Web3D to review and make corrections. Once everything is confirmed to be correct, the setup process for the official project domain will begin.

Additionally, the time required for configuration and setup on the official project domain should be considered. This process typically takes 24 to 48 hours once the domain is registered and pointed to Web3D's servers for configuration, security certificate creation, and going live on the official domain.

Information Submission

Web3D has a dedicated Content Manager Team responsible for receiving, organizing, and handling the loading, configuration, and publishing of all projects within the platform.
Project visual content and information should be submitted and shared through our exclusive email or WhatsApp channels. The submission must be done via file-sharing systems such as Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, OneDrive, etc., to the corresponding Content Manager email.

Schedule a Web3D Presentation

A sales advisor will give you a presentation and demonstration of Web3D, showcasing all its features and how you can implement it in a real estate project.
